Our annual Sponsored Walk is set to take place on Friday 12th September 2025. 

Consent Form

To participate in the walk, all pupils must have a completed consent form. Please complete the online form using the following link: Sponsored Walk Consent Form

About the Walk

The walk will begin just before 10:00am. Pupils will be transported by bus to the starting point near Auchenblae and will walk approximately 15 kilometres through Drumtochty Forest. They will then be collected by bus and returned to school.

Staff will be supervising pupils along the route and at key checkpoints to ensure safety and wellbeing throughout the day.

Return to School

Pupils will return to school between 2:00pm and 3:30pm. If your child does not require school transport and you are happy for them to go home after the event, please indicate this on the consent form.

Sponsorship
As in previous years, our Mearns Academy Parent Council (MAPC) has set up an online PayPal fundraising page. We would be very grateful for your support in encouraging your child to both take part and seek sponsorship. Every contribution helps us continue to offer enriching opportunities for all pupils.
